My eggs are pipping... but on the wrong end... I have 2 that have both pipped on the wrong end. No other pips so far. First hatch and kinda freaking out.

Check them and make sure they are still active, breathing, etc. They could actually be just fine. I had one do that recently and left him alone. He zipped the wrong end too, but he hatched out just fine.My eggs are pipping... but on the wrong end... I have 2 that have both pipped on the wrong end. No other pips so far. That's a good question. I know when candling eggs, I can start to see development just 5 days in. But then you're looking through a shell for that, and there might be some things on the inside that you can't see when candling.I have a question, how long is too long to leave a fertile egg under a broody before it starts developing and can't be used to eat?
All 3, I got another wrong end..., have their beaks out breathing and peeping every once in a while. So they are good for nowCheck them and make sure they are still active, breathing, etc. They could actually be just fine. I had one do that recently and left him alone. Oh yeah, if they're making noise, they'll almost definitely be fine. All 3, I got another wrong end..., have their beaks out breathing and peeping every once in a while. So they are good for now
