YES! It has been a while, and we have all been asking about you two and worried!

Is everything okay? Are you both healthy and safe?

And... Good morning everyone.
Nothing exciting to post about here yet. Just woke up, got my coffee, and logged in to catch up.

SO VERY GLAD to see a response from Buddy and/or Becky though. I was getting very worried about them!

Sounds a lot like the lime bags. They are 50 lbs and just over 1 foot long.

Yeah when I asked the local feed store if they carried PDZ for horse stalls they said "Most folks use lime for that, we have lime!".

Lime is corrosive, I wouldn't even think of having that anywhere near my animals even if people do use it to control ammonia in horse stalls, it can damage horse hooves and that is nothing compared to what it can do to skin (bird feet or human skin). The store can order PDZ for me and will.

Yeah lime is very alkaline based. I do use it, but only underneath deep bedding, or actually tilled into the soil for breaking up this CLAY and neutralizing it.

well, the freeze only had an effect on my garden

Hopefully it hasn't killed off everything I worked so hard to get in. I still need to plant the peppers and beans. Maybe this was the last freeze, but ya never know

I'm probably going to hit up Walmart next week and buy some seeds for my own - in hopes that we have a late-ending summer too. I've got corn and squash, although the corn is only for the fowl, anyway. I need to buy those little peat pellet things so I can get them all started.
