OMG!!!!! I want to come see them!!!! The little lavenders you already have, I'm in love with!!! I'm also in love with your Marans rooster and your big Barred rooster!!!!! I'm learning so much so fast..... When I see the pictures on the net it just doesn't appeal to me, but in person is a totally different story.
I thought I had this whole chicken thing wired, but I am finding out the only thing I have completely figured out is the construction part. Even during the down pour yesterday I must have gone out to check on the chickens ten times. I need to build more cover for the chickens. I'm sure they weren't to effected by the rain, but I didn't like seeing them all bundled ontop of each other in the few places I did have covered.


@Abmaddox has really been a blessing for me. Right at the time I had to deal with some pretty serious health issues, unknowing to her, we have both been leaning on each other for support. So on this Easter weekend I am so very greatful for all the blessings I have received and all the new friends I have made. I hope everyone has a Blessed Easter and can spend time with your loved ones.

I will be bringing even more babies soon! At soon as they have a few more feathers and Mother Nature gets her Alzheimer's meds and some Prozac.
Any help I can give you let me me know, the help you've given me with this hoard of birds is priceless!

Thanks for the pics GAM. I'm not feelin so hot about my legbar eggs this morning. Took out the three clears I knew of but a few of the ones that had started, it's like the blood is settling and making the ring.

flower, I have Pekins coming out of my ears. I just mentioned them because they are so plentiful, who the heck it out of stock on them this early in the spring? I am wondering if that place is still in operation or they just make their website difficult on purpose. Or maybe I'm just a dummy. (shut up carcar and GAM!)

I am still going to hold out hope that the two places I have ordered them from will come through soon.

HA! Whining worked. I should have one set of eggs Monday. And that lady is SO nice. We talked forever and she offered all kinds of help. Hopefully we can get a pilgrim flock going and make them available here in Georgia since there don't seem to be any.
