YO GEORGIANS! :)

There is a Feed Store in Canton that has ton of baby chickens, ducks, quail, turkey, bunnies and geese. I wish I could remember the name. The owners are great! Sabine is one of them and very knowledgable. She has helped me save one of my chicks. I'll try to get the name, but wanted to throw this out there as an option for you guys.

Edited to add name: TC Country store. http://www.tc-country.com

Dominique chick will be black with a white head spot (barred)
Delaware will be yellow
Buckeye will be red/Orange

EEs can be any color, look for beards, green legs, and pea combs. Although, you can occasionally get a beardless one, or one with a single comb.
Thank you for the info! Turns out the one missing is the Blue Cochin. I thought the Dominique was the Blue Cochin. Also they may have given me a different chick instead of a second EE. Only one has the greenish feet with puffy cheeks but I know that not all EE's have the puffy cheeks or green feet so just have to wait on that and see. According to the lady at MPC the Buckeye female is the yellow chick with what looks like black/brown marker squibbles on the back of her head and back. The Buckeye boy is yellow with lighter yellow around the wings. Both the Buckeye chicks have a redish/orange tip on the end of their beak. Now to just tell the difference between the Orpingtons and the Red Star (Golden Buff) chicks.

Has anyone heard of Glass Pond Farm in Cleveland Ga? Just went to their site they sell ducks and chickens. Mainly juvenile hens and full grown. But all the breeds I want.

Aren't they the ones who sell them for $25 and say they aren't your average chicken? If so, then I have one of their Silver Laced Wyandottes. He delivered her to my house. Nice healthy and pretty girl. If you want full grown chickens, I think this is a nice place to get them from.

yes, they are $25. Was there a phone number? Can't find one. I emailed, haven't heard back yet, but that was early this morning

Would love to know what feed store that is!

Ok, so I am beginning to believe my husband when he says something is wrong with me. I have 34 chickens, 4 ducks and eggs in the bator. I have 11 1- week old chicks in the brooder. But, I still want more!! I was driving down the road coming home from getting groceries and all I could think about was "where can I go to look at more chicks?!" I had already gone by to see the bantams at the local feed store. I constantly think about what eggs I want to hatch while my family reunion is going on this summer! I want to hatch BLRW, Real Araucanas, and some from RR in Blue Ridge (Crested Cream Legbars, Rhodabars? and EE) . I hope to also hatch some more ducks. What is wrong with me????

You don't have anywhere near enough ducks.
