YO GEORGIANS! :)

I don't know what you were on but I want some.
I'm not on anything. Maybe that's the problem.

I tried to post earlier but was having PC issues. I saw where some folks were saying that their chickens hated pellets. They are spoiled to crumbles! I thought mine hated pellets at first, but once they learned that pellets were all that was on the menu, they began to eat them. They don't waste as much now that I feed pellets. They do rake a lot of pellets out of the feeder, but are able to clean them up before they disappear into the litter. I use crumbles for smaller birds, but when they are about half grown, I switch them to pellets. My chickens are like kids, they will eat what's put in front of them or they won't eat!! I have never had one starve to death.

Line breeding is when you constantly breed offspring to parents, gparent, uncles, aunts, etc. Usually I get a new roo every 3-4 generations. Since I hatch a lot, that's about one or twice a year.
