YO GEORGIANS! :)

We have had issues with one of the OEG Cockerels attacking my youngest son. My son gets a huge kick out of it and laughs. I had him pin him down on the ground by his neck (gently but firmly) and then pick him up and pet him. The OEG has not showed me any aggression but my son has to remind him that he is above him in the pecking order at least once a week.

Just separated this girl from the flock :(

I have no clue what's wrong but she's wayy off. I was actually able to catch her up while free-ranging, which is absolutely UNHEARD of with her. She's generally my little velociraptor when messed with.

Floppy/pale comb, dazed affect, mud-butt, no egg this week that I can remember but she doesn't feel egg bound?? But then ALL my girls have slacked off big time this week..

Maybe so ;) ... but I really wish she weren't acting so sick. :(

I've only experienced that look twice. First time was an impacted crop. I was too much of a newbie to realize anything was wrong until it was really wrong. Second time, my pullet that was making that face dropped a soft-shelled egg and was immediately better after that.

Well, I sat and watched her for about ten minutes. She is eating and drinking, so that's encouraging. She pecked at her feed but hasn't touched the egg/yogurt/TUMS combo I whipped up for her. Not sure why, it sounds delicious!! :/

She does seem to be "bearing down" a lot, and pooped twice while I was watching. It's very loose and pale yellow-y.. She will just stand with her eyes closed.

Thanks!! I don't feel/see anything strange with her crop.. If anything it's flat. Like I may have said I can't "feel" ANYTHING strange with her abdomen? No heat, no egg-shaped mass. If anything it's concave it seems, lol. I mean I just can't feel anything?

And for what it's worth I just yesterday evening noticed all this. Although as busy as I stay, she could have been off before that and I haven't noticed.

Hello carcar I have a silver laced wynndot who is doing the same her comb is not pell but she stands with her eyes closed a lot I also have a blue copper pullet who want eat when she is with the big chickens all she will do is peck at the dirt but when I put her in the pin with the younger chicks she will eat the starter she is very light and her balance is off she has been better since I put her with the other chickens but I don't have a clue what's wrong with her open to all comments thanks
