The Goat Playground is awesome! When our neighbors were living next door they had the plastic play sets for children set up but this is way better! I wonder if you could post this under the DIY Coop tab or maybe on the Backyardherds.com site. I'm sure other people with goats would love to see what you have done to give them ideas. Our goats. And a couple of birds.

And here he is going back the other way.
Sorry, the only Game Fowl we have are the Old English Game Bantam chickens. I did notice that someone has Modern Game chickens not chicks listed in Knoxville TN on Craigslist. I just didn't want you to think you were being ignored.Does anyone have a lead on any Modern Game chicks or Mille Fleur D'Uccle chicks in Georgia?

I have some mille fleur Bantums in the incubator. If all goes well the eggs should hatch in 2weeksDoes anyone have a lead on any Modern Game chicks or Mille Fleur D'Uccle chicks in Georgia?
So my broody has been off the nest quite a bit today. Every time it have looked out there she is up walking around. I was away for about 6 hours today so maybe she sat then but I haven't seen her on the nest. It's day 10. Since she's up now I took the opportunity to gather the eggs and bring them in to candle them.
First of all they weren't warm when I picked them up. A silkie egg had a blood ring and an EE egg wasn't fertile. All others had veins. I put them back in the nest but I have a feeling my broody is no longer broody. Why would she just snap out of it. She is away from the flock and protected. She has done great the last 10 days(a week she didn't have fertile eggs). I she eats and drinks and poops and I give her treats. I didn't think chickens could count but had she had fertile eggs all along she would be right at hatching in the next couple days.
What gives? When should I deem them dead and let her back with the rest of the flock. How long can she be off the nest before they die? I'm so upset right now, so forgive my rambling.
