YO GEORGIANS! :)

I just saw an ad on cl for chicken milk? Does anyone know what that is.

Chicken Milk

noun

an opaque beige fluid rich in fat and protein, secreted by female chickens for the nourishment of their young. Only one breed of chicken secretes milk, they can be found in Yeagertown, Pennsylvania. Locals have been drinking chicken milk for years, but it is a well kept secret because the bird is so rare. If you travel to yeagertown the locals will deny this legend, they will even pass it off as a complete farce.

Wake up, peeps!! It's Sunday! Church and then 5th Christmas for us today. Smh. I always say, 5th Christmas is the best one!! [/sarcasm]

Our three "covered" runs have been full of water for the past few days due to the rain down pours. We keep having to get the water out with a shop vac. I am worried that the chickens will get coccidia from drinking the nasty water. I keep giving the probiotics in their water but doubt it will help. What on earth are we doing wrong for the water to keep coming in the runs? I even have plastic around the hardware cloth on the north and west sides of two runs to keep the wind and rain out and it is still getting in. When it stops pouring here I will try to get pictures of the mess. If someone knows what to do to correct the problem or where I can find out please let me know.
