So cute!Since everyone else is posting their cute chick pictures, these are the babies I got at TSC last thursday.Acorn! Has been ID'd as a silver duck-wing old english game bird bantam.
Batman! Whose breed is still a mystery. (current suggestion have been cochin, langshan, or maran. Pretty sure she's a bantam though.)
Choco and Boco. I'm PRETTY sure these are silkies. I think they're going to be white, or another very light color.
CZ (cubic zirconia), Diamond, and Topaz, which are my silver laced wyondattes.

So far everyone seems really happy and healthy!
I love it when they blend together without issues. I've truly been so lucky with that with the only exception being a rooster that grew into a problem with in the flock…major aggressive to the point of killing one hen outright, breaking another's leg causing me to have to put her down and crazy scaring another that refused to come out of hiding…until he um mysteriously disappeared. The scared girl came out there was a New Orleans style funeral for their lost girlfriends and then they partied.
I'm no expert, but that sounds similar to a threat to me.
I run my incubator very dry and didn't do too shabby with them. Way better than last time I hatched them-- or, rather didn't.Reading of and seeing more and more about Marans doing better with lower humidity during incubation. I've personally had better luck running them drier, too.
He woke up ... does it really take much more than that with him? lolOh my, what did Robo do now?!?
