YO GEORGIANS! :)

I swear I just watched one of the birds eat a whole feather. That doesn't even seem right. Like, she just gobbled it down like my rabbit eats her lettuce.

hey, who was discussing younguns getting on the roosts with me the other day. The last few nights, I've gone down at dark and put them on the roosts. Each night, another one or two would be up there. Last night, there was only one that wasn't, it was snuggled up in one of the nests. So I said to myself, 'self, if any are in the nests tomorrow night, you need to block it off'

so this evening at dark, I went down and they're all up on the roosts by themselves! YAY! but get this, build a nice new coop, 16ft of roost bars, and all 14 are crowded together in a 5 ft space

Yep.. I've seen ours eat feathers, too.

It was Dorothy. The one we suspect is a roo. I heard a commotion and there she was running around with it while the others chased. SHe saw me coming to take and she just sucked it right down.

I'd like to know who she pulled it out of. I heard a screech right before that. (S)he's kind of a high voltage douche.

That's what they do... ours practically pile up on top of one another.

yeah, yesterday evening I was down there picking up around the outside and could hear them in there squawking and fussing (you know how women do), they were all trying to get closest to the window. Reminded me of my sisters fighting over who got to sit by the window when we were kids.......

Srsly tho. My guess is Black Swedish.

Well, I looked at one of the internets and I do believe you are right. While they vary in color and pattern, I found some images that are identical to the ones I bought today. And you should see the ducklings with the tufts or crests or whatever the heck you call them. A couple of them have that little poof off to the side of their head. Those may very well be up for trade next Saturday.... we don't much go for the poofy things on top of ducks' heads around here.

I think so. I've been so overloaded this week, I can't recall myself. I can call the guy tomorrow and ask. Do you have my cell? If not, I'll pm it to you and GAM or flower can give it to you.

Please. Let me know what kind of turkeys and ducks he has... (if that's what he has) I know he had 3 ads but they're so far back now I'd never find them again. How much was he asking for the keets?
