I picked up my babies today so excited they are finally here I bought 15 they sent 18 one is not so active . Would it be of any benefit to put braggs vinegar in the water. What do you all feed the weak ones to help them .

I would suggest adding electrolytes to their water. I use the little Sav-A-Chic packs from tractor supply. I'm not sure about the vinegar maybe someone else has experience with that. What kind are they? Good Luck.

Light Sussex I got them because they are so gentle my granddaughter had a bad experience with a group of three roos , she is just getting over that with the ones I have now .Thanks for the tip I will go get some maybe the little weak one will make it .

I tried this without the BQ sauce I don't like the taste of it I used some mango in place of BQ it still was wonderful .

I bet it was! I'd even throw in some pineapple! And maybe throw it on the grill!

either save a chick Tractor Supply store will habe this avfeed and seed store will have something as well in case of emergency sugar water will do this is a very old farmer trick but not to much sugar water as it will make them have diarrhea but it will be sufficient until ou can get them something better.Keep me posted on how things go.

Yall!! So. My hatches in my styrobators were always sooo prolonged and spotty.. Sometimes eggs just pipping while others have been hatched more than a day.

I was thinking my NEXT week's hatch would be the best example for the new bator since they are the first to go all the way through it.

BUT. I have six barnyard mix in there that I took from my half-arse broody and put straight in the cabinet. Just got home and ALL SIX are pipped so perfectly, all the same size and shape, LOL!

Anyway. Just too cool. I look forward to seeing how it goes overall.

What rotten luck. All three are roos then. Thanks for the confirmation, guys.

But look on the bright side they goona be great loking roos the one with the monghonagy color and the green plumage coming in is gonna look great the only drawback is his tail maybe a tad toooo high only time will tell as his body has gotta grow some more,how does he hold his wings low or kinda stright back as they should be too low.

i mean his wing should be holding on the low side hoping color hold true the bright looking red that you see nowdays is not the ProperAPA coloring
