YO GEORGIANS! :)

Yeah as soon as I realized it was ten and not a dozen I sent this:

"Hi there, just wanted to let you know that 6 of the (10) eggs I received are clears. While I understand you have no way to tell what's fertile/not when shipping, I thought I would let you know as I would want to know as a seller. Thanks for shipping them though and for such great packing."

And received this:

"Hello, thanks for letting me know. I do appreciate the update. I sure hope the 4 make it and are the best SQ birds:)"
So they didn't list it for 12?

Our 10 week old NN got a nasty cut on the back of her/his neck today. It got me to thinking. What happens to a NN hen's neck when a rooster visits her? I know with our other girls the roosters grab the feathers on the back of their necks to hold on to. After seeing the blood from the cut I'm worried if this is a hen what will happen to her?

I know you're not supposed to leave ebay feedback based on anything but shipping/payment, but I reeeeally wish I hadn't left any yet. And I feel certain the seller checked to see that I had.

Part of me wants to get ugly here. Part wants to just let it go.

Let's just see how work goes today and I'll let that decide.

Six pips this AM for tomorrow's hatch. Nineteen eggs in all:

7 olives
4 brahma
8 brahma/BCM mix.

Those mix are turning out HUGE. Biggest kids in the brooder if anyone is interested in possible meat birds. I think they may be good for it- had no idea they'd be so big.

And I thought better of smarting off to the ebay seller. I remember they DO have my address and folks be crazy these days.
