I hate to be that guy but....i am going to pick up three five week old Modern Game Bantams tomorrow and woooohooooo i'm super excited!

for these, I just cleaned them good, left the skin on and sprinkled them lightly with some Tony Cashere's creole seasoning. no sauce, just cooked over charcoal around 225* for close to an hour. Make sure chicken is at least 165* internal temp in the thickest part.

I also sometimes put my home made rub on them and grill them that way. Jill doesn't particularly like 'skin on' but it helps it retain moisture. If i had time, I would have fired the smoker up and slow cooked them with some pecan wood, but man it's hard to beat the good ole charcoal taste!

Thanks for the comment, we've been married 35 years, will be 26 this November. Hard to believe she's put up with me that long, LOL

LOL I'm watching my wasteline. It's getting easier to see........bahahahaha

actually I have lost about 15 lbs since Nov, it's easier for me when it's hot out cause I don't feel like eating during the day, and if I find myself able to do much, I'll stop and rest outside in the shade instead of inside in the A/C where I can see the refrigerator.......
