YO GEORGIANS! :)

In the meantime, I have spent hours trying to get my 5/6 week old Runner Ducks to go to the lake for playtime! It takes me forever to corral them, then walk to the lake with them and them drop them into the lake and then guard the shore so they don't immediately run out and home! They actually spent about 10 minutes playing this time! My older ducks go every day and love it. It will take a few more trips down there until they get the hang of it. I am hoping that the younger ducks will eventually hang out with the older ones, but they are like chickens in that respect and it will take a while for that, too!

Small
that was either a small piece of a brisket or a really big slow cooker

no way this thing would have fit even in Jill's biggest slow cooker, and I bought the small one.........there was one that was over 18 pounds and the price tag would have required a signature loan.....
small brisket + big slow cooker! Lol. Don't actually have a recipe... Just kind of winged it

Guy already sent me a photo of their new home! Looks really beautiful. I warned him to keep his eye on them right now because ducks this young don't have their water proof feathers yet and could actually drown! He does have a brooder area set up for them. I am happy now that I see them! Momma duck is, however, still looking for her babies.
I would be sad to see momma duck running around looking for her babies too.

Well although have got attached to them, and hate to have to part with them am going to see if anyone may be interested in two EE roosters. Looking to possibly trade for two similar HENS or good laying hens or to sell them. They are going on 18 weeks old so like to find two hens of similar age. Looking for what is available. Anyone ?
