YO GEORGIANS! :)

Not sure of breed of these bantam, any help. Katsdar I know you have bantam, not sure with size of this one bantam how she will be with my two roosters, one a Buff and the other a Welsummer. Am a little concerned with her size, basically can almost hold her with one hand putting her in with the big roo's.

I'm sure she will be fine. Just watch her and make sure she not too stressed out.

I agree about the Licenses. If people come to your property and buy eggs or chicks or ducks, no license is needed. But, if you take your eggs, chicks, etc. off your property to sell, you need the license.

And, the little bantam in the front looks like a Serama. They are the worlds smallest chickens.

I just ordered some chicken Saddles because my rooster is just so big for my girls, he is tearing up their feathers! I only have 2 roosters with 32 hens!

And, I started a diet today!

She died last night. Not sure what happened. Her comb was a healthy bright red, too, so I am thinking that it was a sudden thing. We had a huge storm yesterday and things got blown around. She could have gotten hurt, scared (to death) or she could have been bitten by a copperhead or she could have been egg bound. Just not sure. No, I didn't autopsy her. Had appointments this morning so we just buried her.
I'm sorry

I agree with Flower she does look like a Serma and I have bantams with my big roos and she seems to do just fine. My bantam hen is only a handful

Checking in before heading out. Gosh a saying my Mama used to through out when she was feeling worn out comes to mind: "Why wasn't I born rich instead of so beautiful" she would always have a good laugh pull up her boot straps and off we would go into what ever needed doing. This morning I'd like that, I would stay here instead of going off to work and catch up. I would go love on allllll my chickens, dogs and kittens :). In an effort to do a quick catch up: I am so sorry to hear of the losses to each and all. Beautiful pictures of birds and eggs alike and wonderful insightful people with great tips on so may different topics. I recommend folks to this sight and board because of all the great folks that participate here….Ta ta for now, someone go pet a chicken for me :)
