yeah I've been studying some pics, online and in the candling class information. I haven't paid any attention, as we've been cracking them. I will today though when I cook some later. I do know that when I decide to keep some for hatching not to put them in the refrigerator, and the rate I'm getting them, I'd have a dozen in two days. Thinking I'll do 4 brown, 4 blue and 2 white, just to see what we get

Do it! Heck, pull the ones from the fridge and try them too. I've hatched plenty of cold eggs.

actually, the full dozen that's in there now is going to the neighbor across the road. He brought us a bag of veggies, mostly tomatoes, from his garden a few weeks back. He comes over and helps me when I need something done with a tractor with a front end loader, since mine doesn't have one.......

I really think he brought the tomatoes that day because I was cooking a brisket on the smoker and he wanted to see what I was cooking,

I'll have enough by sunday, what time do y'all leave to go to church? I could maybe drop a dozen on our way.....

ok we usually leave here about that same time, I don't want to leave them sitting in the truck until after service. Let me rethink this, I may wait until wednesday evening, we'll need to plan this out a little better

You can hang them on the front door or put them up in the basket hanging next to it. No need to overthink it, right?

I am going to do one last hatch, but have to wait until the end of Sept. My new granddaughter is due around Sept 8th and I am going to spend a week in CT helping my daughter out. So, am planning to get FBCM and Lavender Am eggs delivered then. If anyone else wants anything hatched that late in the season, let me know.
