A neighbor stopped by this afternoon to tell me I had 2 that he could see coyotes in my yard early this morning, can I shoot them?

and not have to hide?
Coyotes are considered a nuisance, and can be hunted year round.

In Georgia, coyotes are considered nongame animals, and they can be hunted year-round with few limitations. You can hunt them with any legal weapon; electronic calls may be used (except on WMAs); and they can be hunted at night with a light that does not exceed six volts. (Taken from GON)

Kill all the coyotes you want to..... And then kill some more.

Just be mindful that it is illegal to discharge a firearm within 50 yards of a roadway.

These were all perfectly timed posts! Thanks, y'all.

Hi Flowerbh!

I am in Flowery Branch! We do have goats! I have 3 ND girls. 2 are hermaphrodites so they are just pets for me and I have one doe I am going to register and breed once I feel a little more experienced. We jumped into goats and chickens all in about a month and I have had a blast this summer with them! Hubby thinks I've gone a little crazy already planning on making our shed into a really big coop so we can have a nice little flock. We have ended up with 3 roos and a little golden mutt hen. 3 roos are barred rocks we got as chicks and raised. They are all that's left from our humble start in April! I am trying to figure out how to keep them or rehome now that I have gotten attached! I am certainly not a vegetarian but I am having a hard time with the thought of eating meat that I know before it's on my table!
