YO GEORGIANS! :)

So, as the story goes.. As soon as interest in chicks begins to perk up a bit, egg production has nearly halted..

I can't keep eggs long enough to even THINK about hatching any. I have picked up a few customers who are taking every egg my girls lay. I actually got 8 eggs from my 9 hens wednesday! only 3 blue ones, so I either have one that's not laying yet, or they all aren't laying every day

thankfully, Kat's picking up those leghorn girls from Kingheman saturday, maybe I'll get a few more each day after that

Good grief, you need Katsdar's avatar sign!

How old are they, and how long have you had them? Sometimes it takes a few days after rehoming for them to settle in

They are young not sure exactly how old I also have two new leghorns less than a year old they are are not laying yet ether we got these light brahamas and the two leghorns to at so eggs to our flock the rest of my flock are getting over the molt

the new girls made it home! they have their own section of the coop and run for a few days, then we'll let them all get to know each other

thanks so much Kat for picking them up, and thank you so much Kingheman for my new girls!
