I worry with this weather we will be having this week, they could freeze in shipping. They are only a few hours away but still may freeze.

How many of you raise mealworms? I just got some today. I don't have more wheat bran on hand (supply store will be open tomorrow). The worms came with a good little bit. I have read you can use some wheat germ as well? I was trying to avoid buying more expensive wheat bran at Walmart or grocery store. Thanks in advance for the help.

I have about 10,000 of them right now. They should be fine with what they were shipped in for a couple days.
I snagged a 50 lb bag of wheat bran at the feed store that was ripped, got it half price

Anyone close to Atlanta have some hatching eggs I can buy? Breed doesn't matter, I'm using them to test a broody and see if she can hatch or not and plan on selling or giving the chicks away. I'd only need say, 4 standard or 6bantam? I don't know if a little silky can sit on many more than that

(I don't mind driving a little ways for them, just not like 4 hours.

I just won an auction on 2 dozen Barred Rock hatching eggs that I really didn't plan on winning. I knew I would get outbid, or Not! Really hadn't planned on cranking up the incubators for a few more weeks!

I just divided them up yesterday with the RIR on one side, everyone else in the other. Let me see how they lay over the next few days.
I have a customer who wants 4-6 dozen on Friday (every Friday) and I want to keep him happy

LOL, I want to fill my own incubator on the 24th for a Valentines Day hatch too.
