YO GEORGIANS! :)

I'd just like to take a moment to whine and commiserate with my fellow Georgians. It is too cold out!!! 10 degrees tonight!!! I am worried about my 6-7 week old turkey. Mom won't let him sleep under her --only snuggle up. Wondering if I should bring him in but then everyone would be upset.

Once they are laying reliably I will separate them out too.   We have some more pens to set up, they just need one side added.
As far as price, I really don't know.  I will say these have a fair amount of gold leakage on the hens.    I really need to breed them with a black roo, then with the lavender the following generation.

But they look real nice til about 5 months when adult feathers finish coming in.    Of course, some of it could be sun bleaching too, but I'm thinking leakage.

Have any pictures of them? I don't mind testing fertility for you on the first couple of rounds. ;) I'll be setting up an incubator soon, too.

I will try to take pics of them tomorrow. One is looking big and about ready, the other 3 hens look a month behind her. But the roosters all look gorgeous, although I have yet to hear one crow. But that could be because Blade the Olive Egger rooster beats them up if they look at him. He wants ALL the hens!

I also can't wait for the Black and Blue Ameraucanas to start laying again. Don't know why they are unhappy, but they just won't lay for me, even with red peppet, cat food and lighting at night.

Haha Aw! Poor little roos. :) they'll get their own space soon enough I'm sure.

I got lucky, most of my girls are already laying again if much slower than usual.

Yup. 42 here. I told my husband after my ankle surgery that I was going to try to make it one full year before I end up in the ER again & the next time I have surgery, I'm getttin' boobs. Lol
No boobs yet, but I did manage 18 months between ER trips. Obviously unrelated to the arms, but we'll see what the orthopedist says on Wednesday. I'm so uncomfortable and want the pain to go away so bad that, if I wasn't married to the po-po, I would drive to the city and get my hands on whatever Pills I could find as long as it makes it go away. I hope she listens to me this time. And without judgement. Got too much stuff to do to be this uncomfortable.
wait what? 42???

no freaking way

It seems like since I hit 35, my body is just falling apart. It seems to always be something! I just finished my bachelors degree in criminal justice last month. Who is gonna hire me all broke down. LOL
