Are they chicks or pullets? Isn't $10 high for chicks? Sorry but I'm still pretty new to doing the seriously.
I have watched and listen to yall for about a month now. And have learned more than in 30 yrs on my own.

Katsdar I work in Villa Rica printing the chip bags for Frito Lay. The small 1 OZ "vend" bags of Doritos nacho cheese or some people just call them the red bag. In a 12 hour shift we can make between 12 to 14 million of those just on 1 printing press. U have no idea how many people eat those. When the economy was bad we were working OT. Even every holiday but Christmas Day. Folks were staying home eating chips and sandwiches instead of going out.
 
I'm with Papa on the water thing.. I've even taught adult birds to use the nipple waterers within a few minutes. I'd just flick water on them every time they were near and once one got curious enough, they all followed suit. Not sure you could just sit it there and expect them to discover it by chance, though.

I think they'd be chicks. The BCM are pretty popular right now, and still fairly new I think (as compared to, say, the Leghorn or Orpington) so they can get away with charging more. Still better than the price for cream crested Legbar, which was over $30 from most hatcheries last time I checked!

I've had them sometimes have to go a few hours and get thirsty before they'd show any interest in my showing them but they always seem to figure it out, as long as there's no other source

Small world, who would think with me making the reference we would actually have a bag maker here. lol and that is crazy that is a lot of chips. Next get together Clinton 78 is bringing the free chips!!!! wonder if your company would donate a box or two to go with Papa's BBQ
