YO GEORGIANS! :)

Hi Cliff. Are you talking about starting the swap up at the Tractor Supply again, I would look forward to coming. A few of my original gals are no longer laying so I am looking to add new chicks this spring. I am also thinking about adding a burbon ref turkey or two for my own Thanksgiving rather than store bought. I hope o find these locally rather than from farther away. I have Cream legbar hatching eggs arriving next weekend (keeping fingers crossed).
Get in touch with Josh at Orchard Hill Poultry. That's where my three came from.

His birds come from a good temperment stock. This is the sister and she lives with 8 chickens and a duck. When i say chickens i mean all the way down to 3 modern games that barely weigh a pound each.

I had to let it go... I have received enough warnings as it is.
and I'm trying to maintain a pure record. I haven't said NEARLY all the stuff that goes through my mind. As a friend of mine says,
"I mean everything I say, but I don't mean to say everything I think"

so I just sat here and giggled and made everyone in the house wonder.........

:p

I knew I could count on y'all.. I knew it wasn't just me. Even if y'all were gonna leave me hanging for a bit.

(Btw flower, it really is a good, informative link).

I got 3 bourbon reds because Josh threw in the 3rd for free. I wanted to make sure i ended up with at least one female and one male. I ended up with two males and a female so we ate the two males for Thanksgiving last year and the hen should be ready to start laying this spring.

That is is the same selection I was thinking about. I would like a table guest for the Holidays, but would like to continue the tiny flock to avoid having to purchase new for the next year. Did you get them as eggs or were they already cooked and out of the incubator?
