is carcar coming? I drive right by her house to go to church, if she didn't mind bringing them back for me, or Kat maybe? if she's going odds are she'll be within just a few minutes of my house on her drive by...... LOL

Why is it so hard to find local rir fertile eggs or recently hatched chicks? Am I looking in the wrong area or just blind? Ha

btw checked Craigslist but all I see are adults, mixes or long distance away

So, am I the only airhead for miles and miles who had no idea there was a HUGE poultry show going on just 6 miles from my house this weekend? My neighbor texted me and asked if I was going and I had no idea what she was referring to.

Probably a good thing I didn't. I'd have bought tickets and then likely would've brought home more chickens that we're not ready for yet.

Any of y'all happen to need a rooster? I have tons of them and so far no time to process like we usually do. Mottled Java, White Java, Speckled Sussex, Blue Marans, and Blue Copper Marans

The seed has been planted and I might just go. I'm obsessed now. The DH said "If I'm not going to work because I'm sick, I'm not going anywhere. I feel like _____. I'm not going to a chicken show."

My next and last attempt will be to tell him about the press conference that I just saw the US Surgeon General give about the new findings regarding curing the common cold. Apparently, scientists have just discovered in the last 24 hours that the cure for the common cold in adult males over 50, is playing Chicken Poop Bingo and going to poultry shows with your wife.

I just hatched 6, and am filling my incubator Sunday with RIR eggs.
I have 15 hens with two roosters in Cartersville.

And there is a guy in Summerville with RIR chicks weekly.
