I would say rooster too. I have about 40 Blue Isbar eggs in the incubator. Got 1st import, 2nd import and the last are from 1st import hens and a 2nd import rooster.

Any interest in selling a few? I'm dying for a pullet!

Yup so sorry Monroe. He said they were getting a big truck load in Monday. That said I hit the road and went to the TSC closer to my house (the one in Grayson that can't have any livestock per city rules). They looked like they were switching over stock but had a pretty good supply of most things and better attitudes (helpful, friendly no dagger stares lol). No biggie I got the supplies I needed between the 2 places and have enjoyed sitting on a stool in my big brooder talking to my new babies while DH just shakes his head and throws the odd QUACK in my general direction lol.

I am sure I will have extras, if they all hatch. So far I know half are fertile and hoping they all hatch. I just put the last half in the past few days.

Too cute. I know it's too early for them but I picked up a kiddie pool like this for when my runners are a little older. Oh and I stopped by the TSC in Morrow and grabbed their last box of 2 replacement heat lamp bulbs. The place looked like it had been mobbed, hardly any chick stock to be found and only a few orphington chicks with pasty butts. I brought it to someones attention (he looked at me like "go away") nothing was done. I have tried to realize I can't save the world but I'll give it a good shot with these little things when they come up,

Pasty butt can be something to be concerned about, I know rescued a chicken from certain death to find the problem and no cure. Hate to think of my options, been 8 weeks.
