I have 4 pipped now, couple of them have worked out pretty big holes, stand and watch and can see the shell being pushed out. I am excited!PapaChaz, my eggs rock from the time I lock them down and I'm sure even before that if I could see. LOL. PATIENCE!![]()
our local feed store carries a private label and I really like how it looks. The girls all seem to like it as wellJust opened a bag of Nutrena Nature Wise 16% crumbles purchased at TSC for my hens and Bantam's as they prefer crumbles to pellets. But was very disappointed in the quality. Although been using this brand for more then 8 months, this bag was so fine and full of fines that I would not call it crumbles and looks like a complete waste of money. My question is what is anyone else experience with crumbles and what brands do many prefer or use. Thinking of possibly Purina or Southern States, anybody have any input or thoughts. Thanks

My birds eat the Naturewise Starter Grower Crumbles and the Naturewise Layer Pellets. From my experience with crumbles they are the same more often than not. The Flock Raiser crumbles are powdery also. Every so often a thread shows up on here where someone feels like their crumbles are too crumbled and wanting other recommendations. Sounds like it's just a fine line between perfect and too powdery and most manufacturers are constantly towing the line.Just opened a bag of Nutrena Nature Wise 16% crumbles purchased at TSC for my hens and Bantam's as they prefer crumbles to pellets.
