Ha ha ha! We all are jumping for another opportunity to hatch chicks!

My name is GAMarans and I am a hatchaholic. I've gone to the meetings but just come home with more eggs.

He's coming this Thursday, but I won't be ready then anyway. I have eggs in there for the weekend. Then, have to clean and sterilize it. So, next week? I have another guy interested in hatching some eggs, too, but having heard back from him yet. So, first come, first serve!

Off to bed! Big weekend for me. Tomorrow the renters leave. Got to clean and prepare for my family to start arriving! Yea!

I no sooner posted that last one and the wife yells "IT'S OUT" LOL so our first lil ameraucana is here!

It's amazing especially for first timers course it never gets old, congrats, it's a wonder how you get so much chick in that little space.

I had hubby helping me fill waterers earlier. Boy I could hear when the wheels started turning in his head...

"Sooo the chicks on the porch, they're for sale?"

Yes.

"And what about these in the wood coop?"

For sale.

"And these brown ones here? There's FOUR boys in there!"

Those are mine and yes I know.

(Thoughtful pause)..

"But when did we decide to do Barred Rocks?" (Points to chain link kennel)

Back in December.

He was fairly quiet after that.

Love it when they finally get with the program.

I have four chicks out, no more pips that I can see. Curious to see what's there in the morning! I have a lady coming to get the 3 hatched out week before last, and another lady lined up for some of these from this hatch

gotta love it!

I also have two ladies who want hatching eggs, so I'll be collecting some for them the rest of the week
