YO GEORGIANS! :)

you can go ahead and bring me that cake you're baking.....bahahaha

well I have 3 chicks out, two more almost out, and 5 more EEs pipped. One of the ones that's out is one of the AMs, there's not a chip, pip, crack or a wiggle on any of the rest of them at all. Hoping that since tomorrow is day 21, some of them will be getting busy over night.

the EEs we're hatching are black australorp rooster over white leghorn hens. pretty plain looking so far, except one has a black spot under it's right eye. of course, the grand daughter named that one "Spot" already, because "that's a good name for a boy or a girl"

ahhh, the mind of a 5 year old.

Wait, I have the mind of a 5 year old, never mind

so who says dessert can't be called a side dish? I put em on the plate at the same time, or even better, another plate set to the side......

bahahaha!

but seriously, potato salad? slaw? baked beans? chips or fritos? keep it simple   :)

Yes we need these items for the cook out   potato salad? slaw? baked beans? chips or fritos?

and some more tea, I'm bringing one gal. of sweet and one of un-sweet.

Now I have two friends that want to buy 2 laying hens each, and I told them 20 per bird, so if you have some you need to sell please let me know, and PM me your info so I can pass it alone,as mine have gone broody and the others are behind in egg sells, crazy birds,
Well that works out well. I was thinking potato salad. My bff makes one with lemon & dill(i think) and it's awesome. I may or may not still make the knock you naked brownies. We'll see.

Now, I have no way to tell if they'd be fertile but If anyone wants to candle & find out, i'd be more than happy to bring some eggs to hatch. I don't have an incubator so I'd just give em away, mostly because I'm curious to know what the chicks would look like. I have a BO Roo & a EE Roo who has stunning feather colors. The hens are BO and one Black Marans. I love her feathered feet. Her eggs arent that dark though. She lays almost daily so they don't stay in the oviduct(?) long enough to get the dark coating. If anyone wants some, I'll let the roosters loose on em & see what happens. You'll get an interesting mix of mutts. :D

Lurch and igor was the bat!

Why can I not picture igor?! Lol I completely forgot about it.

uncle fester

Uncle fester was funny. When I first met my husbands neice, she was 8yo. With this massive head of long curls. She would flip her har over her face and imitate him. She was so cute. She's getting married this year. I feel old. Lol
