Yeah... That's what I'm thinking too. I'm gonna watch "Maggie", I think she might be a he. MIGHT.
But Rufio was supposed to be a rooster. 'He' looked the most boyish right away, but definitely not looking like a boy now at all...
Bummer. Guess I'm waiting til next year to get my roo. :/

I guess I'm just mean. I do NOT tolerate mean roosters, but I guess plenty of people do. I just think it's dangerous and they can never be fully trusted.

I pick him up when he just attacking hens or fighting to much but i use the stick if I'm waking around out in the open.

I candled my eggs I got from the BBQ and the NN and silkies were not fertile,

I guess it is not in my cards to have a NN, a few of the SBELs were not fertile and one BYM, but the really dark maran egg is doing great, least it's dark in there and I still have 16 eggs in the bator so we will what goes into lock down. they hatch on the 21st that is our 6 flags day, oh I will miss the fun,, ok I have a small brinsea and lets say all 16 eggs go into lock down, will they be ok all scrunched up or do I need to find a hatch sitter?

the brinsea is one of those Octogon 20 eco's can hold like 24 LF eggs

Grr. I hate that the silkies weren't fertile. I have 2 that hatched last week and expecting 3 more this weekend (and one week before that)
The NN I had seen topped by the silkie roo, I haven't tried her eggs yet myself cause she isn't laying.
My first SBEL are due this weekend too, they were fertile.

How about the Ams? Mine were marked LA and BA with a number.

Oooh! who's Marans egg is it? I never marked mine other than the dates they were laid. I'm curios to know which Marans? LOL I am dying to find out what Stanley's babies may turn out like. I hope somebody who brought home any of the eggs I left will post some photos! The curiosity is gonna kill me!

My rooster attacked me this morning and his ONLY spur was ripped out so my rooster spurless again... (Blood all over him, me the ground... Hens)

Mine is still on good behavior since I dunked his head in the water bucket. Over a month now.
I even picked up one of his hens today who was panting heavily and she squawked, but he looked at me, then looked away.
