Been there. Done that. Turns out fingers aren't in a French fry recipe either! Did you think you didn't need the protective piece either?

Took mine down to the vein and you could see the tendon sheath behind it. When I would clean it, you could see the vein contract and expand. It was SUPER sweet.

I have a pic of the injury that I'll spare since not everyone has an appreciation for a good wound pic. But here's the scar.

My bantam EE have started to lay. These girls are tiny like an OE game bantam. Starter eggs started showing up Sunday and then yesterday got 3 and one is like a standard sized egg. The brown egg is the frizzle hens egg. The green egg is my Isbar hens egg for comparison.

Nice colors! All my chicken's egg colors have been diluted looking lately.

The OE's egg use to be so dark, now just so so.
