YO GEORGIANS! :)

I want a Welsummer, but I really don't want to drive that far. We had to go to a funeral in Atlanta Tuesday. Saddest one I've been to in a long time....30 year old son of a friend of ours chocked and died. I had forgotten about traffic. We live up here where that doesn't really exist. Driving that far just doesn't appeal to me at the moment. GAM, you can have her. The EE chicks sound good, too, but I have 13 chicks still growing out and I need to stop. I need to auction off some of the older hens before I do anything else. I need to sell the Polish roosters and the male runner ducks, too.
how far are you willing to drive to get one? the dear wife and I might be making a day trip next wednesday up through Chatsworth and I'd sell you one of the ones I have for $15, they're not laying yet but I'm expecting any day. I've seen the rooster already mounting a couple of them, can't imagine why they're not laying yet. I need to downsize a little anyway. These are the 5 I got from our mixed order back in Feb.....

See GAM? If you'd let them meet Robo you could still be sitting pretty with your little green button....
They did meet me. And as they gathered around me swooning and asking if I needed any personal attention, I could think of nothing more than remaining the faithful, loving husband that I have been for so very.... VERY, VERY long and thus broke their hearts when I took her from the hospital.

Quote: I'm not worried. I have plenty of muscle relaxers I can mix into her vanilla pudding if she starts getting upity.

Do any of you know a good tick preventative?
I spray Repel (same as Off) heavy on my shoes and bottom of my pants, pull up my pants and spray my legs. Spray around my shoulders and neck good for any coming from northbound. That works pretty good. I've heard putting a line of kerosene around the bottom of your pants legs works too, but I've never tried that. Repel also makes a tick repellent with a different ingredient in it, but the regular Repel says it works on ticks and it's done ok for me so far, so I haven't bought the Repel tick repellent in the red can.

And btw, if you get one on you, I saw a good video on how to get rid of them. You basically wet a Qtip with water and then just drove the tick around in a circle with the Qtip. Eventually, he'll back his head out and you can discard him. I tried it on two different ones and it worked pretty good.
