YO GEORGIANS! :)

He has a Wellsummers hen for $15

He also has 9 EE chicks for $2 each or $15 for all.

How old are the chicks? No guarantee, but i'd love some EE hens. We might keep one roo if he's not annoyingly crowing. My hubby says 6 hens is enough, but he's getting attached to them...they're funny to watch. And, i'm starting to get several people interested in eggs and can't fill the demand and our bellies...even if all of my girls were laying yet.

Holy cow!!! This EMT cream is amazing! If you saw my post earlier this week, this is a huge improvement in Betty's scalp. Her birth sister, Berry (French Wheaton Maran mix) refuses to leave her side now and even found a way into her pen...no pecking at all...sisters for life! These girls amaze me...first it was an older hen hugging a youngerhen as she tried to lay the first egg and now this! It is baffling how sweet they can be with each other in need yet independent free-rangers. Sorry, but that's how we all should be! Rant done...looking forward to reintroducing Bettyto the flock VERY soon!!!

They are about 5 or 6 days old.

Your rooster sounds amazing. My rooster needs more then 6 but sadly he only has 6 and he a bad word for a donkey with a act for making all hens back feathers disappear.
(I just order two new aprons as I type this)

Went to auction today. DH's truck ended up at the shop so we had to take my little car. DH, DS and his girlfriend went, too, so 4 baby chicks had to ride on the back seat with us. 3 ducks and 3 chickens in large crate in the back area. (son's girlfriend is not used to poop smells! LOL) Taking DH was probably not a good idea. Once we got there, I took the baby chicks and ran to get in line. Left the girlfriend with them to go register. DH and DS were suppose to bring the big crate with the ducks and chickens in. Next thing I know, DH says we can go home, he just sold the whole lot for $30! Ugh! I was expecting to make at least $50-60! He does that every time I take him to any market! Only good thing was that we didn't have to stand in line and wait our turn,......although we were like 5th.. So, I have lots less mouths to feed!

I may have to go to an auction shortly. I've got a lot of chickens and ducks I need to get rid of so I can get more of what I want. I've rarely sold any and usually sold what I have on Facebook groups... but you'd think 6 5 month old laying hens would sell for $60 for all of them, but I haven't had a bite. Been trying to sell them since before they started laying. I've got a ton of boys that have to go too. Chicks I held onto crossing my fingers they were girls. I have a knack for picking out awesome roosters apparently.

I know the situation, have a light Brahma and two RIR laying hens, and good chickens and can't get any buyers even asking 20 -25 dollars for all three on any of my Facebook pages so may be going to auction as well or giving them away. Need to downsize.

I just started fermenting food to try and save on the food bill. Now that all these big laying hens I have been trying to sell are grown and laying and my husbands duck collection has grown... they're eating us out of house and home. Lol. I have all these little roos running around that may end up in the freezer. I thought I could at least get a few bucks for them. Also this is the worst month of the year every year at our business because of back to school. We literally shut down for 9 days at the end of last summer and it didn't cause us to lose enough money to worry about. I know why. Buying my kids school supplies... makes me feel like she's being trained to be a janitor. I spend more money on paper towels, disinfectant spray and wipes and kleenex than I do her actual pencils and paper and things she needs to do school work. Would have been nice to be able to sell these and have a few extra bucks laying around.
