YO GEORGIANS! :)

Yesterday one of the renters saw we had a riding lawn mower.  He asked me where the grass was!  hahahhahah!  Well, last fall when we threw out seed, first, the geese showed up.  About 50 on their way south.  Then, renters and weddings by the thousands ran and played and danced all over it!  Then, the winter and the dry summer happened!  So.....no grass.  We will try again this fall.

I know your pain! Our yard too is only dirt! And the occasional weed. We have two energetic young dogs to thank for that, though. They ran and ran through it all summer, now it's just dust. Not that we had much grass to begin with!

The weather this season has killed the pasture at the farm.

It looks so sad and brown.

I have a mille fleur D'Uccle roo that I'm looking to rehome, preferably trade for a pullet of any kind. Please PM any inquiries or questions. Willing to drive to meet.

so this year, I've sold some chickens to a local lady. This evening on her facebook page, she posted a picture of a chicken wearing a tutu, that she saw on whatever 'etsy' is, and says 'sorry chickens y'all are all getting tutus.

I kid you not......

I don't know if I'm sad or mad that i sold her chickens she's going to do this to.....

That is so funny!!! Oh I can dress up the chickens for Halloween, awesome, Papa look at the bright side least if they have clothes then they are well cared for. That would be so easy to make, and do a bow tie for the roosters, or a vest

ummm, NO 'if they have clothes they are well cared for' sorry I don't agree with that at all. I think anyone who would do this to a chicken doesn't deserve to have chickens. This is NOT 'caring for' the chickens. You sound like the mother in The Christmas Story when Ralphie has to come downstairs dressed in that pink bunny outfit his great aunt made him "ohhhh isn't that soooo cute"

gag gag gaggggggg

just like all the people you read about who think they need to put sweaters on their chickens in the winter. does more harm than good. people, just STOP
