YO GEORGIANS! :)

ISA's are sweeties??? Hmm, and DAM IT! I had a chance to get 6 ISA's at the auction for $5 each. Pretty sure they weren't the same caliber as yours...but i'm a little ****** now. However, that advice makes way more sense than getting birds of equal stature, appearance and stuborness.

Speaking of, anyone wanna go to the Long Branch Livestock Auction auction this weekend???

I'm going.

ok my typing are is totally different, BYC playing with anyone else? Oh wow that would have been a steal, darn, and refresh my memory where the LBL Auction is. What day and time? Oh your way down in Mableton,

About 5-10 minutes down the road from me.

So what day/time? if it's this friday can't

Saturday ... auction begins at 4.

Has anyone double-checked to be sure they are doing livestock this weekend and not large equipment?

Usually the ISA browns you find at auction are the "Laid out" tired girls from commercial laying operations.

There is a LOT of information out there on ISA browns and their lineage. Here is a link to wikipedia which is a good place to start if you are looking for info on ISA browns.

About what time should one show up if they're selling birds? I won't be able to go this weekend but I'm going to try for the next one.
Got 2 roosters to sell, and maybe some chicks!

Here are a couple of our buffs sharing space in the communal nest this morning...they have just started laying during the past 10-12 days...getting about 6 eggs a day right now from 16 pullets. These 2 have all the room they need to spread out but they seem to like laying right together like they are best friends and talking about boys...(rosters)....ha!
