how about you? & im just inside of Marion county on 240. So a little ways south of talbotton.

Australorps. I have to remember how to spell them this way. They are Orpingtons that originated from Australia .....Austral(ia) orp(ington)s = Australorps.

I'm way up in Dawsonville. I started with regular breeds of chickens, but have really loved my strange mixes the most! Right now I have 38 adults, 15 juveniles, 18 1-week olds and 19 in the bator. They are starting to pip now, so more babies soon! I have my license to sell eggs, hatching eggs, chicks and chickens. My hobby pays for itself. Love my chickens!

I'm up in Dawsonville and have 6 chickens 3 buff Orpington and 3 bramhas (bramhas rule!)
I'm a college student so I can't have anymore chickens. ;-; or hatch any (I would give a leg to let my broody hatch 2)

i'm going to be selling a few of my 1 and 2 year olds as my girls from the fall are starting to come online. Figured I'd put it out here first to see if there is any interest before putting them on craigslist. I'm keeping disciplined at 12 layers - so as the new girls come on-line I need to cycle out.

1 year olds (March 2016 hatch):
-1 Easter Egger
-1 Maran/Rhode Island Red cross (she lays large dark eggs - same cross referenced in @choonook post on the previous page)

2 year olds (May 2015 hatch):
-1 golden laced Wyandotte
-1 Dominique
-1 Red Star (one of my most consistent layers)
-1 French Wheaten Maran (I may keep her a bit longer to breed if I can find a Maran roo - but I do plan to sell her by late spring).

I'll probably be ready to sell in the next month - let me know if you are interested

I have chicks for sale! Some just hatched 1-10-17 and some are hatching now! The mixes are $3 each, straight run. Most will be colored egg layers. The dads are a Blue Partridge Brahma and a Crested Cream Legbar. I have one purebred Isabel Cuckoo Orpington chick in the 1-10 hatch for sale. It will cost more, of course. In a few weeks, we will have some purebred Blue Partridge Brahmas for sale. (Waiting to see which ones we want to keep)
