I had to judge eggs for Quality, (Grade AA, A B,C)

Thanks for clarifying that. For some reason what came to mind at first was something like a pie-eating contest or hot dot-eating contest like they have at Nathan's each year in NYC. Whoosh! Now I know better.

You probably could teach the egg-candling class for the state.

Incubation a day will enlarge or even shrink the airsacks without starting the egg to mature

I have a 4-h poultry judging certificate. Does that count as a egg license. I mean I use to judge eating eggs for 2 years

Common sense would say that you would be good to go but since the government is involved I would say no.

Happy Saturday, Georgians.

I got my borrowed incubator cleaned up. I think my friend had been using it to start seeds, because it was quite dirty with potting soil. Anyway, it's taken me a few days to get the temperature up to 100F. It spent a day and a half sitting at 96 no matter how much I moved that thermostat up. I finally ended up re-installing the thermostat because the thing was just spinning in place. Now I get to see if it stays steady.

I only have the one poult in there, so I put the heating pad really low for now. Hopefully I'll have a chick or two to add tomorrow.
