It is nice to hear people putting their lives into perspective instead of letting the news control their lives and invoke fear in them. You all truly do make lemonade when life gives you lemons. BYC folk are the best.

I bought a black copper Maran rooster from someone and since I got him none of my eggs seem to be fertile. He is at least a year old and the lady I bought him from said he needs a lot of hens. What for? He doesn't breed with them and he and my original rooster fought and now my original rooster has a hurt leg and won't breed anymore. Anyone have any advice on what to do to get him to breed? Also I bought two black copper Maran hens from someone else and they told me they were hatched last august but they still aren't laying and they are 33 weeks tomorrow unless t
