Thanks for the help!!

Aww, well thank you anyways! I have look at the Farmers Market Bulletin and Craigslist and found SO many adds for Buff Orpingtons for sale and other Orpingtons and great laying breeds like Rhode Island Reds. We also know a family that has Buff Orpingtons that was going to give us a free BO rooster when these chicks grow up, but now we're wondering if we could get some free or cheap chicks from them.

Oh! It's a good thing I didn't make it! You would be a very bad influence! Beautiful birds!! Terry had to just about tie my hands and duct tape my mouth at our first (and still only) show. He did drag me out of the sale barn! LOL!

Congrats!
Now which one will be needing the diapers?

Nancy..
I want to thank you and Jacque for such a wonderful time yesterday. My darling husband said it best "I knew when you went up to see Nancy that you would not be right back - you needed to spend some time with your friends"

I so enjoyed the peaceful tranquility of your farm - even when the geese and guineas decided to tattle on me when I got close to their area when you and Jacque were busy selling bunnies.

Tell Jacque that I want to come talk serious garden veggies/blueberries with him soon. We have 9 acres and I need to expand my gardening. I really want advice on growing blueberries and lettuce among other things... My chicks are of course adorable. They joined an incubator full that was waiting for them here. I now have a BUNCH of lavendar orps.. I am thrilled. They are still hatching - I am up early to check on everyone. I would have loved to bring home some ducklings but we both know why that wasn't possible..I was content to admire them from afar. I'll be anxious to hear how your chick hatch goes.. they were pipping everywhere when we looked - prayers for a great hatch. You need to restock after my truckload..

When your store is up and running - I will be there for the first bread making class..count me in

Thank you again.. can't wait for my next trip -- maybe I will bring you a new bunny (ssshhhh don't tell Jacque) or maybe some BLRW... you don't have any of those..

Spending time with "chicken folk" is wonderful.. we need to just plan a tour of Georgia chicken people.. if only I didn't have to work!

Right now, I'd say the little Mille Fleur cockerel LOL. He is the sweetest thing! Actually both are sweet, she just isnt as happy about being held as he is. That will probably change over time.

Today we are working on the cochin coop. The chicks are growing super fast and have almost no room left in the little brooder so it will be a Lowes day for us today. I learned a LOT from a chochin breeder at the show so today I'm going to go through the chicks and start sorting them. Then of course I'll need diapers for my favorite chochin.

I have a questions for my fellow Georgians. Who can help me with info on what is required to sell eating eggs, meat, and milk in GA? Not sure that i want to get into selling milk but would like to know anyway. Any info or links to info would be appreciated. Thanks,
