New to the boards here. We are located in Thomaston, GA!

Looking to find some welsh harlequin ducks....eggs or ducklings.

Thanks!

So, brother is going to be hatching some eggs for his science project.., Problem is, we only have one hen that's currently laying!

So I took him to the breeds section and he's in love with Black Sumatras... I figure it's a shot in the dark, but do any of my fellow Georgians currently have this breed who would be willing to sell me a few hatching eggs?

Our girls have definitely started slacking off in all this heat.

I am going to try a dry hatch to see if that helps my rate this go 'round. Surely the humidity has to be high enough at just room humidity?? Our house is about 50%. Thoughts? What do you do in the summer in Ga for incubation?

It depends on what your using to incudate the eggs. If your using like a home made inc. you might do just fine. However if your using a cabnit inc. you might still want to loadf the water container. I forget exactly what the ideal humity level is but it seems to be something like 65%, to high to be left in the house, but too low to be taken outside:/. Hard to say what to do. If it were me I would get 10 or 15 trial eggs and just see:)......oh.. and greeting form Senoia.

Hey Georgians - I have two Silkie roos, approx. 5 mos old, that I would like to rehome. One is buff, the other white. The white one crows, hangs out and likes being pretty. The buff wants a date - badly. They are basically good boys but I'm just not cut out for roosters. Coop is too close to the house!
