YO GEORGIANS! :)

Anyone mind if I drop in here to brag? I got two new bantams today! I believe the man I got them from said they were Dutch Sport Bantams.

Names are Frank Sinatra and Billie Holiday! XD

Great names!

I'm using a hovabator with a fan. It turns out, it was running too low on humidity, so I raised it to 35%. I hope to keep it at about 35% until lockdown.

We lost our entire flock to predators and MG this year, so I am having to start COMPLETELY over. With no funds. Our marans, orpingtons, everything is gone.

This hatch HAS to work!!!!

Speaking of which, if anyone has NPIP cert'd lavender orpingtons and black copper marans near Fayetteville, I am trying to find some super healthy stock to start with... MG certified, too, if possible.
Of course, I have to start out with hatching eggs, and not as many as I'd like, because as I said... our chicken budget, like our flock, has been demolished this year. BLAH!!! Hey-- it's a learning process, right?

Well we just finished up our Third Farmers market of the week, sold guineas and two mini rex bunnies since being home and some goat's milk and some veggies....I'm tired!!!!

Soon time for afternoon chores, feed/water animals. check on mothers to be in the bunnies department and milk 8 goats, collapse and make ice cream and have an omelet and ice cream for dessert! Wow probably won't be awake for tonights fireworks, singing in town!!!! Hope all are well, praying for some raing, but it seems to resist being here! Come on rain....The garden needs you so!!! Nancy, I sure hope you got some rain today. We drove home from Nashville, TN along 27 and had a good steady rain while passing your neck of the woods this afternoon.

Did you hear back from the folks with the show quality Silkies?

I am in Columbus GA. Have three five month old sultan roosters, tame and lovely need to give them a home. Only have one hen and a total of four roosters. They are well cared for.

Thanks
