You all cannot not imagine how happy I am to be home!!! Our farm was so super busy and I thank BYC and non Byc'ers who helped the farm harvest and clean veggies for market, birth and feed babie and so much more....They called, wrote, prayed, wrote cards and much more - even fed Jacque and that's a big JOB,,,, he eats about 12,000 calories a day LOL!

God is good and I'm home again - 7 days early from the wonderfuly denver hospital I was in... I feel better and am so blessed to be back..........mmmmm what was I going to say.... Oh we have a contest going on over on The Garry Farm for a gift certificate for the time and day of our 1000 friend member!

Do y'all know if there is a list on here of the breeders/hatcheries in Ga?

We're looking to expand our flock in the spring and I would love to get my birds from a Georgia BYC member. I'm pretty sure we want a few more Orpingtons (the ones we have are really low quality or something - I want to try some of the "good" ones before giving up on them

), maybe some more Rocks (Blues!), and I'm thinking of trying out some Dorkings, Sussex, or Javas.

I know of Bargain (will definitely be taking a trip to her farm this spring!) but I'm not sure who else. Any suggestions?
 
If anybody that is going to the show in Jefferson in a few weeks has a BC Marans pullet they would like to sell, I may be interested. Looking for one that lays a nice dark egg. Im working on an olive egger project so the darker egg, the better. Or would take a black Marans if the egg color is dark.
 
Have a happy New Years....We still are busy selling farm animals and hatching eggs and milk and veggies glad to see all the Georgia members.

Now I have a request.... it appears that we will be having a new format in the upcoming section.... I'm trying to find out what this means in terms of if this section will continue.............sooooooooooo......
