Turtlechick, take some flavored yogurt and schmear some on their beak. I think they have to mull it over after that.

Seminole, I'm seriously considering it. Only problem is, I have my heart set on brahmas and brahma eggs seem to be about as rare as hen's teeth, but I admit I haven't done serious looking yet. Just started considering it today. One thing I do know....my superchicken mama psychic powers are starting to work. At first I was told 3 -4 chickens MAX. Today he said, look, you are only gonna want 10 - 12 chickens right? PLUS, he bought a book on shop buildings and he said, what do you think of this 10 ft x 14 ft coop for your chickens?!?
I think he wants something...I'm watching him closely
