Yolk sac infection?

Her poop looked relatively normal. But she passed over night so. I was kind of surprised she also wasn't looking good last night either so I don't know, I'm guessing she just had some sort of underlying something I have no idea what but wasn't something that electrolytes and stuff could fix. I'm kind of sad. :/

Actually I do have a question, my other chicks are 2.5 wks old and one is 1.5 wks old (that came with this little one, bad batch I guess because I got three and one of them died the first day and now her). I just found out our farm and fleet is getting chicks in for the fall in 2 weeks, would I be able to get some and add them to these guys when they are about 4 weeks and 3 weeks old? I didn't really want to go through the whole introducing chickens when they're older thing and was hoping to just get a decent flock right off the bat, I am not ordering any more from my pet chicken because the shipping is expensive and I am kind of bummed about this. But then when I found out that the farm and fleet with getting them in then I thought maybe I should just get a couple from there and try to add them while they are all still pretty young, would that work?

Okay nevermind I think I found my answer. It looks like if I keep them like in the same area so they can see each other and give the youngest ones a little time to get acclimated then it should be relatively easy to introduce them after a couple of weeks once the little ones are getting feathers and more hardy. So if I want to get anymore it would probably be easiest to do it now rather than wait until they next spring and try to introduce them to adult birds? Thanks so much for all your help.

lol, yes much easier to introduce while little
i introduced many like that

:hugs very sorry she passed
but if oyu do decide you want to order chicks again i have had good luck with ideal poultry out of texas and they are pretty inexpensive

I freaking knew if I gave her name then I would get attached and be sad if she didn't make it even though I obviously had a suspicion something was wrong with her. Darn it. Thanks! I'll look into Ideal Poultry so I have some options, I've never done the buying chicks at a farm supply store and they told me that they're getting a limited amount and it's first come first serve, I don't know if it's going to be like Black Friday crazy or what LOL.
