Yolk Sac outside of hatching duckling!!!!

Are you sure it's yolk?

@BantyChooks
Yes :(
I wiped it from the nose with a Qtip
We moved them from the incubator to a small brooder with a heat lamp because in the incubator they kept trying to get up and they were stepping and sliding because of the moisture on the sac(the other one is out and it seems to have a little sac but not too bad but I have no idea because I am just stressed and confused. I went from hands off completely to hands on because of yolk sacs and I'm scared to death of making any move. Since we moved them they are resting with each other and laying in the warmth.

The yolk is like coming out of the ducklings nostrils a little :(
Please is this ok???

remember the "chill" we talked about with the wet wrap? -- could have just caused a bit of congestion, but probably nothing serious. Once he gets up and about, drinking and such, he'll work it out.

Nice warm fuzzy blanket looks lovely!

Doing great, ducky momma!!

I just asked my friend....He had that happen....He thinks it is yolk got aspirated into the lungs...For some odd reason they hatch before ready...He culled his but yours might survive?....

Best wishes..
Culled? Not sure what that means?
I hope they survive!!! I've been talking to them and they have warmth so I'm hoping they can rest and get better!
