Hi yall! I'm new to the poultry world and just thought I'd say hello. I currently have 8 chicks, 2 Brahmas, 1 seroma, 2 bantams, 1 Wyandotte, 1 mystery chick, and 1 Rhode Island red. I also have 4 ducks, all of unknown breed, 4 rabbits, 1 Dutch 2 Rex and blue mixes and 1 purebred mini rex, 2 Guinea pigs, 2 dogs, 1 Scottish terrier and 1 husky German Shepherd aussie Doberman mix, 1 Morgan horse, and 1 American shorthair Himalayan mix black cat. My Wyandotte, Puff daddy, is my profile pic.

Hey Tot! Glad you joined us!
The yellow chick in your avatar doesn't look like any Wyandottes I've seen. It's a crested breed, maybe a white or buff Polish. You can post more pics of your mystery chicks or ducklings in a new thread over here:
https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/what-breed-or-gender-is-this.15/
if you'd like help figuring out what they are.

Best wishes and have fun in all your animal adventures!

OH! Thanks for letting me know! The girl at the pet store said it was a Wyandotte so that's cool I guess lol

I do have a coop and run planned out! My friend and I are currently building it while theyre still small and in my bedroom.
And yes I do have quite a few lol i've always been a huge animal lover.

When I first started out with chicks a few years ago, I started with 8 chick's also. Now I have a full grown flock, and I'm hatching egg's in an incubator. They are addicting! ;)

Yikes, don't take my word for it! I've never had a Polish, but I've seen lots of wyandottes of many varieties and I have a blue one currently... there just aren't that many crested breeds. Post some more pics!! We all want to see your cute chicks!

They're sleeping right now but I definitely will in the morning! They're all weirdly greasy right now though? I made another post in the raising chicks thread about it but hopefully it goes away soon.
