I just lost one of my chcicken barns do to fire not sure cause yet but prolly was one of the incubators or heat lamps i lost over 700 birds. Im just sick i just checked on everything at 11 pm and 4 am gone everything gone.
Ive had a long last 3 years now this i just dont know what to do now.

Just wanted to post just hopefully someone else doesnt have this happen to them check the incubators clean them out check all the heat lamps it doesnt take much and it all be gone.

Oh I am so very sorry for you. Really. Not this year, but next year when I have chickens that lay, e-mail me and I will send you some eggs.

We will get you up and running again.

Thank you for sharing. This has to be so painful. I always worry about the heat lamps.

Oh no, that's so sad to hear.
Heat lamps (even the 70watt light bulbs in shop light fixtures I use for brooders) can be dangerous.
