you ever feel like...

Yep, but I've got massive (diagnosed and medicated) social anxiety w/panic disorder. The result is that I'm either medicated or I think everyone in the world just wants me to leave, and/or I'm making a fool of myself. ...I'll be staying on my paxil, thanks.

I used to be that way, I wouldnt talk to anyone, I would get panicky in social situations because I felt like everyone was laughing behind my back or that they just didnt want me. But then I got into high school and made a few good friends, and am now the POLAR opposite! I can talk to just about anyone and I dont really care if they want me around or not, I am here for a good time and its their loss if they dont want me, I wont let it ruin things for me! Its much nicer this way...I know most ppl dont have control over these feelings, and it wasnt easy for me to make the change, but man oh man I am glad that it happened for me!

See you are not alone,

I asked the question because sometimes if you feel strongly about something it can cause a rift between you and people around you, but there are many of us out there that have always been loners.

lol.... Even my own family turned on me more than once, but I just hung on to what was important to me, my own integrity, and I am still here.

I don't know what is right or wrong I just know I have to do what is right for me.

Now you know you are never alone, we all have each other here on BYC, and finally we fit somewhere.
