1st Guess: INSECT BITE (I had a nasty secondary bacteria infection from an insect once that looked like this). You will need medicine if so.

2nd Guess: SHINGLES (inless you have had the chicken pox vaccine)

3rd Guess: Staph

All of these things would need doctor attention/

i get a reaction like this when i use sun block and im working on things in the yard . only on my hands. i'm not sure why!!

After re-reading you post... I really think it is a staph infection. Only because it feels like a scrape and got bitt really fast. I would put money on it. You would really need to see a doctor for that fast and first thing tomorrow if you can. Please promise to get it checked!

My husband had that on his arms last year... wouldn't go away to save our lives. Its hives, allergic reaction to something. I'm better it was with the gloves you worn.

We figured out my husband's was because I switched fabric softener and he was allergic to it. Then I rewashed ALL the laundry, sheets, towels and blankets in the house. That took me 3 full days!!!

So check and see if maybe some chemicals got on the gloves, give them a good wash and check wearing them again to look for another reaction.

I think it looks very similar to when I've been affected by a blister beetle...and there's not any itch or pain with that- it's almost a surprise to see there's something there.

Could be staph but that usually turns into pustules. If there is clear fluid in there then seems like some dermatitis but no itching is not typical.
