And they know you have chickens.
If there were ever any doubt about whether they minded me and my chickens tonight laid those fears to rest.

As I sat down to dinner the doorbell rang. It was my neighbor, a burly single dad that goes hunting a lot. He had a dish with melon rinds and squash in it. He wanted to know if he could give my hens a treat. [IMG]

What a nice thing for him to do. What a funny thing to watch. This burly fellow bringing treats to some silly hens. [IMG]

The hens were very happy with the treats and I am sure he is now on my "getting eggs" list. [IMG]

Nice. [IMG] I came home one day last summer to find 1/2 a frozen watermelon in the girls' tractor. [IMG]

Now you know who might watch over them when you take a vacation. Good neighbors are a blessing.
