our neighbors know we have hens and they toss fresh stuff over the fence for them out of their daughters garden, the lady told me that her daughter plants way too much stuff and it goes to waste so she brings it home and dumps it on the 'treat' pile. We don't mind at all tho, they love sitting in their swing and watching the hens go nuts over their 'treat' pile

I worry about the house next to us, it just went up for sale and we are hoping to get more good neighbors

our neighbor next door is in the national guard so hes gone for weeks and months at a time he just noticed we had chickens and asked hub how long they have been there

He said our rooster doesnt bother him his crow isnt that loud. Our neighbor asked us about where we got our flood light and wants one like ours since ours lights up part of his yard too and didnt mind that we purposely faced in that direction to keep predators at bay, and since he hunts too he doesnt have an issue with taking out a predator if he sees one heading near the coop i just reminded him we have kids and other pets so to call us first and verify before he shoots.

Today like the last week or so....
My dear neighbor brought goodies for the girlies.

Melon and squash (he even cuts it up for them). At first it was the rinds ...now I think he may be in

with my chickens....he cuts up whole veggies and fruits for them.

Such a nice fellow to want to bring the silly yard clowns some goodies.
