I've ALWAYS been in charge of maintenance for all 3 of our family cars. My husband and daughter only know what I've tried to teach them about cars. Neither of them can build a coop either!

I was quite surprised sparkplugs did not come with directions.

Welll I'm weird and I enjoy doing such things! Hubby and I do most the basic maintenance on our trucks together. I love it

I do routine maintenance on my Dually. I change the Glow Plugs all the time, after paying $80 for the plugs, I sure as heck ain't paying someone another $80 to change them. My Mechanic loves that I do some of my own stuff, and I am welcome to use his tools if I need too.

Times would be tough, if you had to get a 2x4 and a rock to lift the car, to change your oil. Every man, worth his salt, is jealous of your husband's mancave.
